If RBI only will issue digital rupee, everything would be centralized which is against the philosophy P2P tech. Then why blockchain???? That can be managed through normal database.
Crypto currencies like bitcoin was invented in order to free govts control over money; but govt want to use the tech to release their own currency in order to avoid fiat printing cost as well and create unlimited amount of currency same way as they have been doing from ages with fait currency
