Sponsor: ASUS X570 Dark Hero on Amazon
SPECIAL CHARITY AUCTION: 100% of the sale funds Kramden Institute’s technology education programs, distribution of computers for those who cannot afford them, e-waste recycling, and refurbishing. I actually wonder if they get more keyboards than mice because an old mouse take up a lot less space than an old keyboard does. I know for me at least, fitting a full sized keyboard into one of my drawers is like, actually kind of difficult (and you can't really put it at the bottom of stuff since it is a little fragile), whereas I can fit an old mouse in a ziploc bag.
As an i5-2500K owner I may never recover from this burn…
Thank you for doing this, so nice to see some good in this world.
Meanwhile Linus be taking multiple sponsors and doing plugs for his company.
can we get a shot of 0:26 without the nameplates? this is prime wallpaper material xd
When I see a pickup truck delivering crappy stock, I think its going to Demolition Ranch… looks like these guys were saved!
A lot of people forget about “The three R's – reduce, reuse and recycle.
He's teaching poor kids Linux. And you don't even know what EndlessOS is… I'm watching the wrong channel.
17:29 – I would enjoy a certificate of destruction. Here I was thinking I could just wing it…
Man, when those critics told you to go do some good in the world you took the challenge seriously lol
Patrick looks so fine ❤️ (no homo)
This was awesome to find out they (and maybe you guys?) are here in NC as well. We've got a 6th grader who has been talking about wanting to learn to develop games. I'm in web and IT, so I've given him some tools and things up dabble with, and we've kicked around ideas for Pi4's for him to experiment and learn with. But their programs look awesome and affordable (which is good when you have 4 kids). Will definitely be looking into the summer programs for him!
Hey, really appreciate you making this video. I’m local (South Durham), and didn’t even know Kramden was here. As a mid 30’s IT person who’s been self building for decades, I definitely have some stuff to give to this group! Thanks for shouting them out! Love that you guys use your platform for good like this, keep it up.
At 5.55 You're getting rid of the P500a White case. That's the case that I have. 😞
Thanks for everything this year Steve and the rest of the GN team, it's very much appreciated!
Gamers Nexus is in the sticks.
"too old to be reused" LMAO!! XD I've earned thousands from selling 2008-2012 era PCs (they just need a cheap SSD added) and seen countless scientific researches, modellings and theses being done on similar machines
Wonderful video, we need more operations like this throughout society – Kramden is doing a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT of service in their community and afar, love to see this type of content
Mask's don't work
Cool that they managed to sell that old Apple PC to a collector. Many people would immediately assume something like that should go to a museum. More often than not these museums have limited space and the PC would've been collecting dust somewhere in a Indiana Jones style warehouse.
if anyone out there has some art skills….i sure as hell don't. 'paint Patrick like a french girl' would be amazing. then on a shirt. deksmat….ahh sheeeeet
Awesome video!
I'm glad we learned the line between useful hardware and e-waste – I took a few older machines to Kramden a while back, but the newest was a 1st gen i5 so they probably all got shredded. Not that I fault them for the decision, just next time I'll try to include either a donation or something they can actually use. Thank you for sharing the tour with us!
Hey everyone I'm planning on building a new High-End PC with an i7 12700KF and an RTX 3080. However, I'm split between these cases and I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations.
I'm split between the Corsair 4000D Airflow, the Lian Li Lancool 215, the Cooler Master Masterbox TD500 Mesh and the Fractical Meshify 2
Which one of these would you overall recommend to me and why?
You guys are setting the standards on literally everything.
Season's greetings, keep up the good work x
GR8 job No way for me to buy parts beings in Cal , but still awesome helping kids
Wish ppl here in mexico were that good hearted to donate tech to schools :(( not even I am that lucky to have a good pc with the components you guys gave away lol
Charity auction for exploded Gigabyte PSU, read: charity auction for a disposed IED
Can someone please get the long hair host dude some clothes that actually fit for once?
Christ
If you are to thrash the white 4000d I'll take it !!!
I'm extremely proud to have this in my state =)
These vlog-style videos are pretty neat
I'd love to buy the broken PSU, but I just don't have money. Do another one in a couple of years and I'll bid for it.
Is that skinny dude with long hair (Patrick) who was laying on the cases related to Steve? He looks like he is related.
Lol Patrick just chilling on the cases. Looked uncomfortable haha.
you guys are the real ones!
2nd gen core series/sandy bridge was awesome. Still more than capable of doing some work.
