The best money spent is enjoying time with someone that makes you smile! At your end of life, I swear you will never be sorry about the great times/money, you spent with on someone, who makes you happy. Grown Children….this is a gift parents will appreciate ten folds! Looking back, I’m can never say, wow, I’m so sorry I took that Vacation.

Car Manufacturers are taking advantage of the chip shortage – dont expect prices to return to a 'normal' for a loooong time. Look what happened to used car prices with 'cash for clunkers' prices went up and never came down.

Should I buy a car NOW or WAIT until 2022? Such an ambiguous title. Obviously, there's no answer to this question: if your car is totalled and you have to drive to work Monday morning this question is redundant. If you can wait and not to buy the car in 2021 (Christmas sale, etc) you can try to wait out until Christmas sale of the 2022, but how do these two know what the car market would be like next year? They don't. Nobody knows.

I had thought for demos the buyer got the full warranty from the time of sale.

Carvana has paid me more money for my to 2 used cars (with a$12,000.00 profit over MSRP for me) than our local dealership. However I will purchase my new cars from the local dealership with their markups.

Any use car purchase should have at a minimum, a computer scan (with a good scanner) which you plug into the car, it will highlight major areas of concern.

Unless you have a credit union, it is near impossible to finance a used (non-dealer) purchase. I have accounts at Bank of America and Chase for many years (decent balances) and they would not entertain a used car loan unless it was with a dealer in their network. I have an ag lender that I buy farm equipment with and they lend on a used car, but really high rates. I ended up just paying cash, would be a good segment on how individuals can get financing for non-dealer used cars.

Im in a really tough spot im in the military was overseas this past year just came back to the states last week I have no car.. went to the dealership to see about getting a recent Honda accord 2020 or newer a brand new honda is $30k a used one 32, 33k some even $34k these are prices before tax tag and title add another 3-4k for that
Total price for a brand new accord with tax tag and title= $36k and would still have to wait for them to make it and deliver it cause there’s no new cars on the lot but thats the cheapest route I don’t what to do I don’t wanna waste money buying a piece of junk when I can used that as a down payment

With the website car listings. As a person who is often browsing and not sure what i would like next. It would be amazing to have an “exclude” button. For example I like coupes I’d like to look for all coupes and exclude Mustangs and Camaros which weeds out a majority of the cars I know I don’t want to discover.

I want to buy a used car but I just can't because I don't want to be abused by car dealerships right now. Just trying to wait it out

you will never see an affordable electric car. Remember just 10 years ago they were giving 99$ iphones every 2 years to get us used to it. Today we became the product and pay over 1k to be taken advantage of. In future you will be paying shit load of money for cars and pay monthly to be able to use it. Model is same! If you dont want to pay so much you will hear or watch commercials before you can use the car or use its future which are also subscription base.

Just wait! Electricfication and 5g 6g will enable that. First theyll make it hard to drive gasoline. They already started, in the world there is enough gasoline but gas is so expensive asknyourselfs. We the stupid people deserve it

In my country you still can find brand new cars with 0km for sale manufactured in 2020 but with almost the msrp price of 2022

Consumers will opt for the Aftermarket World for vehicle options & bypass manufacturer subscription fees for use for these pre-installed features!
One issue I see coming, you pay for these specific options on a used car to find out the options are defective needing electrical repairs…..additional costs??

Now you've opted in for an option that DON'T FUNCTION?

When will US vehicle manufacturers start selling direct to consumer to avoid the double talk, exaggerations, hyperbole and trickery from Dealers?

At least it was an exciting game! I bought a CX-9 here at Roger Beasley Mazda in Georgetown two weeks ago (Austin TX). Certified pre owned 2019 with ~30k miles. Just about the only place not charging additional dealer markup and I talked them down an extra $1000 bucks. Yeah buddy!

Ordered two vehicles last month. Hybrid escort and a f350 dually below msrp. Check with your company you work for and see if you get discounts. Dealerships can’t mess with the x plan.

Regarding the 58:45 comment about them being wrong in their prognostications the past 12 months, it seems they haven't understood the bigger picture of why this scamdemic was premeditated and what the objectives are. Thus they have been very naive about how bad this would get and how much worse it is going to get.

Those expectations of a return to normal levels of vehicle production by 2025 are going to be interrupted by international war.

We are in the sixth 309.6 year wave, a monetary reset and the demise of western civilization. The financial center of the world transitioning to the East by 2032.

Idk what ray is talking about tonight. We seen that dealership have been cheating people and are crooked for years, when it comes to car buying. So why should we continue with something that is not working?? Makes no sense. I rather buy online directly from the manufacturer with NO SCAM DEALER MARKUPS! The people that actual built the car. So there is no bs on price and hidden fees & all the discount & information is out in front of the consumer to buy for a easy simple shopping experience. If there is a issue the manufacturer will fix it & there is laws that will be place to protect the consumer. Not Billy Bob at the dealership trying to run and hide information & price inflation to cheat hard working people. Also if used cars cost way more then new, buy new. Makes no since to over pay for a used toy & seats people have farted on.

If too many buyers flock to dealers who only charge MSRP on preordered vehicles they may wait years to receive their vehicle, because OEMs may do what Ford did to allocate Broncos delivery priority based on the proportion of each dealers normal marketshare.
