As long you don’t withdraw money from your M1 account you don’t have to pay taxes at the end of the year right ????????

So, when choosing to either be aggressive, conservative or mid range. Is that referring to how agressive you want to save or the amount of risk involved with what you are investing in? If I want to chose the stocks to invest in on M1 Finance for retierment where would I find that info? All index funds?

Is there a benefit for established investors in M1 Finance? I like the piggy bank approach for, literally, my pocket change that won’t yet buy full shares. I save the “pennies” in my regular brokerage account but with M1 it seems I could immediately invest the smaller sums so there’s no unnecessarily idle change lying about. So, what do you think of a platform like M1 Finance as a support tool or feeder to an old-school brokerage account? Another perk might be having an eye on companies I know/want and will eventually own full shares in.

As a 50 + guy what would be the best pie recommendations and what should I look out for? I'm completely new to this but eager to start with $100. Any suggestions and help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance! 🙂👍

Hi, Suzanne, am I ok doing both growth and dividend stocks with Robinhood? Is it better if I transfer all my dividend stocks at M1 Finance? Do some people do this separately? Love your blog. Thank you. Ludy Z

Wanted to open an account (used your referral link as well), but disappointed that non-residents in the US are not eligible 🙁 Glad that at least Robinhood and Webull support US Visa holders.

Thanks for all the info. Just heard that M1 Finance don't offer a regular DRIP program for reinvestment. And youa are not able to purchase shares numerically such as 2 or 5 shares but as a percentage. Is that correct? Thank you in advance.

I love M1 Finance. Just started and doing pretty good, the site is easy to use modeling a pie symbol, just played with it and got the hang of it. Also, who doesn't like Apple Pie ?

@ 5:44 you reference looking elsewhere! Some really good sites for Fundamental and Technical Analysis that are free-ish are TradingView, FINVIZ, Yahoo Finance, and OTC Markets. 🙂 🙂

Sadly my account still hasn’t been verified after I’ve sent them the identity verification and multiple support emails, I get nothing but empty “request received “ emails. Do I have to put my bank info before it will allow that ugly orange banner to go away? Lol.

Hey, a question about your blog, do you write everything yourself/create/run your own website – or do you hire it out? Also, do you put out 1 video per week?

Good point, it's definitely good to always look how any investment dealt with 1999-2001 and 2007-2009. 5 years back can be very misleading for sure!
